Marissa Wetzel
Owner & Founder — Certified Teacher
Hi, I'm Marissa Wetzel, owner of The Hundred Acres Private Academy. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Child Development. I always had a passion for the growth and development of children. My dream for this academy flourished when I became a mother and recognized how important it is for parents to feel heard, supported, and confident in the choices they make for their children. As a first-time mom to my 1-year-old little girl, I understand firsthand the trust families place in those who care for their little ones. I am passionate about creating a school that partners closely with parents, respects individual family values, and provides a nurturing, structured environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. My goal is to build a place where both children and parents feel supported, valued, and truly at home.
Jenny Wolff
Director — Certified Teacher
Hi, I'm Jenny Wolff, educator and Director of The Hundred Acres Private Academy. My passion for early childhood education has grown from both my experience in the classroom and the inspiration of my nieces, who reminded me just how meaningful the early years truly are. Watching them learn, grow, and discover the world sparked a deeper desire in me to create a space where young children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. I believe strong foundations in the early years shape a child's confidence, curiosity, and long-term success, which is why I am committed to building a nurturing, structured environment that supports children socially, emotionally, and academically from their very first steps into school. This academy is more than a school to me — it is a dream rooted in family, purpose, and a genuine love for helping children grow into confident, capable learners.
Stephanie Alvarez
Director — Certified Teacher
Hi, I'm Stephanie Alvarez, certified teacher and Director of The Hundred Acres Private Academy. I come from a background in law enforcement for 23 years, then went on to change career paths to become an elementary teacher. I am a proud graduate from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and hold a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University. I am a proud grandmother to a little girl. Watching her grow has increased my passion in making sure all kids develop at their own pace, and with a strong foundation. That brought me here to The Hundred Acres, where I can help children flourish through each stage of life and development.
